Editing Hours Guide:
With photography, there is an expectation that the duration of time spent editing will mirror that of the time spent shooting; 2 hours of shooting = 2 hours of editing == 4 hours total.
With videography, there is an expectation that the duration of time spent shooting will be half that of the time spent shooting; 2 hours of shooting = 4 hours of editing == 6 hours total.
This is also purely a guide, as dependent on the project, and the needs of the client, hours may vary.
Travel Rate Explained:
You request a 2 hour session at the standard rate, which requires me to travel 30 minutes each way, making the total 3 hours. The 1 hour of travel will be charged at 50% the standard rate, making the total fee £125, instead of £150.
I work in partnership with several other small creative businesses, such as JORG LLP (A/V Production) and MYOB Digital Ltd (Print Design), and have special arrangements with them in relation to billing, fees, and discounted rates if you engage their services for your project.
